Algea extract Pullulan - A film-forming natural sugar (glucan) from the fungus A. Pullulans. Immediate skin tightening effect and also long-term effect by protecting skin cells from oxidative stress & strengthening skin’s connective tissue by stimulating collagen synthesis & renewal of tissue cells, Pullulan also retains moisture.
Aloe - Made from the aloe plant, well known for healing skin cuts and burns. It is soothing to the skin. Uses for aloe may include acne, sunburn, frostbite (it appears to stimulate blood circulation), radiation burns, psoriasis, preventing scarring, rosacea, warts, wrinkles from aging, and eczema. We like to incorporate aloe water in some of our formulas for mature skin and distressed skin.
Apricot Kernel oil - Excellent for skin protection since it is both an emollient and nourishing. Its light texture causes it to be readily absorbed by the skin. It is beneficial in relieving the itchiness caused by eczema and is most suitable for sensitive skin or dry and aging skins.
Argan oil - rich in poly-unsaturated fatty acids, including linoleic acid, Omega 6, and vitamin E. It is said to be nourishing, regenerating and protective for all skin types. Linoleic acid is an essential fatty acid that has a key role in preserving cell integrity. The high content of vitamin E gives the oil excellent anti-free radical activitiy and natural self-protection against oxidation.
Avacado oil - An extremely penetrating and excellent emollient. Avacado oil is loaded with vitamins A. B1, B2, Pantothenic acid, Vit. D, E, protein, lecithin,and fatty acids. Nourishing for dry and dehydrated skin, eczema,and sun damaged skin. Avocado oil's moisturizing and skin softening properties make it a valuable addition to anti-wrinkle, anti-aging and mature skin blends.
Borage - Good for regenerating and stimulating skin cell activity. A very penetrating oil that is very good for psoriasis, eczema, and prematurely aged skin.
Castor Oil - consisting of triglycerides of different fatty acids (90% ricinoleic acid, 3-4% oleic acid, 3-4% linoleic acid). A lovely emollient that leaves skin soft and smooth. Castor oil has moisturizing, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.
Cocoa Butter - is the ultimate tan enhancer or skin conditioner. It builds a moisture barrier keeping moisture in your skin.
Coconut oil - Pure coconut oil is the finest natural skin moisturizer available leaving your skin soft and smooth with a healthy, youthful appearance. Its unique molecular structure allows it to easily absorb into your skin while not leaving behind a greasy film.
Because it absorbs into the cell structure of the skin, it can help protect the skin against excessive damage from the sun. Coconut oil will keep the connective tissues in your skin strong and supple. The natural antioxidants found in coconut oil fight against free-radicals which damage connective tissue and cause the skin to lose elasticity and wrinkles.

Evening Primrose Oil - Said to be helpful in treating dry or scaly skin. Some have found it helpful as a base oil in treating psoriasis. It is said to accelerate wound healing. Evening primrose oil is good in calming acne flare ups because of its ability to dilute sebum production. The oil has also been proven to treat dry, scaly, or itchy skin conditions, such as rosacea .It also reportedly, has some modest benefits for eczema. It is rejuvenating to the skin, reduces skin blemishes and visible skin redness, and smoothes rough, dry skin.
Grape Seed Oil - A polyunsaturated oil that is rich in linoleic acid . Rich in various vitamins including vitamins A, D and E. It is obtained from the seeds of Vitis Vinifera (Grapes) which has excellent skin spread ability and penetrating qualities. The oil is obtained by cold expression. It contains the highest amounts of linoleic acid among any oil or food source. Linoleic is an essential fatty acid, which means that we must consume it in our diet since our bodies cannot produce it. It is a necessity for many functions that maintain normal cell growth throughout our body. Linoleic acid is also the most potent fatty acid at reducing cholesterol levels in the blood. A non-greasy emollient with good skin absorption, that tightens and tones the skin. Useful for acne, oily and impure skin .
Green Tea - Contains a natural plant nutrient called EGCG. EGCG is a versatile substance that restores, protects and heals skin, it has been called a cell rejuvenator. EGCG has skin cell repair qualities that help to restore collagen, the “building block” of skin. EGCG is a potent antioxidant that helps to protect cells from damage caused by free radicals such as sun exposure, pollution and smoke. They contribute to the development of lines, wrinkles, brown spots and lost elasticity.
Glycerine - Retains moisture and holds it in the skin. It is a wonderful humectant. Glycerine has a unique talent for balancing the moisture level in your surrounding atmosphere with the subdermal layers of your skin, so if you live in a humid climate, the moisture in the air will be attracted to your skin.
Hemp - Contains 80% essential fatty acids. Effective emollient and nourishing ingredient. Gives a rich skin feel, has been shown to relieve the symptoms of eczema. has anti-aging and anti-inflammatory properties and has superior healing benefits.
Hyaluronic acid - Because HA is one of the most hydrophilic (water-loving) molecules in nature with numerous benefits for the human body it can be described as "nature's moisturizer". HA is found naturally in most every cell in the body and occurs in high concentrations in the skin tissue. It is found in both the deep underlying dermal areas as well as the visible epidermal top layers. Young skin is smooth and elastic and contains large amounts of HA that helps keep the skin stay young and healthy. HA provides continuous moisture to the skin by binding up to 1000 times its weight in water. With age, the skins ability to produce HA decreases.
Jojoba Oil - Jojoba oil is actually a wax. It is nourishing for all skin types. Jojoba mimics the skins natural sebum, and penetrates skin very rapidly. It is wonderful for healing inflamed skins, psoriasis, eczema, any sort of dermatitis. Jojoba can help control acne and oily skin or scalp since excess sebum actually dissolves in jojoba.
Mango butter - Said to be rich in antioxidants and can be used to soften, smooth and moisturize rough dry skin. It has natural emollient properties, and is reputed to be useful for treating burns, stretch marks, scar reduction, wound healing and skin regeneration and smoothing of wrinkles. It is also reputed to have protective effect against UV radiation and can be used to treat sunburns.
Rice Bran Oil - A nourishing, powerful skin protectant. Rich in gamma-oryzanol (skin protectant) and phytosterols. Phytosterols stops the slow down of collagen and actually encourages new collagen production. Rice Bran oil can help reduce inflammation and soothe discomfort. Shea Butter - Obtained from the seed of the Karite Tree (Butyrospermum Parkii) common to West Africa. From these seeds a soft, pliant "butter" is expeller pressed without the use of solvents. Shea butter is used for protection of the skin against weather, sun and aging, and elimination of superficial irritations. Shea is well known to assist cutaneous dryness, dermatitis and dermatoses, eczema, solar erythema and burns. It is a perfect natural moisturizing agent as it penetrates deeply into the epidermis leaving skin smooth and feeling silky.
Squalane - (natural hydrocarbon in cholesterol biosynthesis), derived from olive oil has a high affinity to skin cells due to its skin-identical structure. Present in human sebum at a level of about 10% and is non irritating, non-allergenic, hypo-comedogenic.
Squalane is said to boost the skin's ability to naturally regenerate, nourish, hydrate, oxygenate and protect itself. Squalane has these unique abilities because the oil is naturally a major factor in skin lubrication as well as providing germ killing activity when it is properly concentrated in the skin. It can help to prevent the formation of brown age spots and can protect against the radiation of the sun. In this regard it is a major oil that prevents skin aging. Squalane is also found in small quantities in olive oil, wheat germ oil, rice bran oil, and yeast. Squalane permeates into the skin at a rate of 2 mm/second.
Sunflower oil -High in vit A,C, D,E. A very moisturizing oil that has shown good results with skin irritations such as excema and acne.
Sweet Almond oil - Contains 62-86% oleic acid, 20-30% linoleic acid & other valuable fatty acids, rich in beta-sitosterol, squalene and vitamins A,B1,B2,B6, and E. It makes an excellent emollient (leaves the skin soft, smooth & conditioned), has a good nourishing & revitalizing effect as a moisturizer & lubricant. This oil heals injured & chapped skin.
Vitamin E Oil-( d-alpha tocopherol) - antioxidant (protects from damages by reactive oxygen radicals & UV rays), has a moisturizing & anti-aging effect (improves skin surface). Vitamin E has soothing & anti-inflammatory properties and promotes epithelialization & enzyme activity.
Vitamin E oil is useful for fading scars on the skin. When it is regularly applied on acne scars or scars caused due to some bruises, it first softens the area and then lightens the mark within a few weeks. The scars will disappear within a few months. It is equally effective in reducing stretch marks. Vitamin E oil prevents water loss from the skin and helps to retain its natural moisture. Thus, it makes dull, dry skin look and feel healthy and moisturized. When used for the purpose of deep-pore cleansing of dry skin, it helps to sustain the skin's natural oil balance.
Wheat germ oil is very high in vitamin E and also has large amounts of vit A and D. Used for treating skin conditions and reducing scarring.
